Peacebuilding Cities Worthy of Emulation
OPPORTUNITY. How do we create Cities of Peace? Vision, goals, volunteerism and follow-through. ICP has given Liaisons Mr. Abimbola Tayo Kolawole and Mr. Ranti Erinle an opportunity to create a new and powerful vision and mission for their small town. Teacher Kolawole says it best, to enable community members “to contribute to the growth of the city thus making the city a peace-building city worthy of emulation by other surrounding cities.” Their town, Odo Alumapebi, becomes the 438th International City of Peace in the making. We must value such peacemakers.
